  14. I posted a question a while ago about using an HP DeskJet Plus with an 
  15. Amiga 2000.  I'm trying to get the dipswitch settings right, and I'm 
  16. wondering if anyone can answer some weird questions:

  18.  - For the RS-232-C handshaking, should I use DTR *and* Xon/Xoff (switch
  19.    B8 = DOWN) or just DTR (switch B8 = UP)?  
  20.  - Is the parallel port baud rate 1200,2400,9600, or 19200 baud? (the factory
  21.    setting is 9600: switch B4 and B5 are down).
  22.  - Should I use 8 bits, no parity, like my serial port?  The other options:

  24.     Parity    Word length    Switch B6    Switch B7
  25.     None    8 bits        down        down
  26.     Odd    7        down        up
  27.     Even    7        up        down
  28.     None    8        up        up
